The final release. The game is complete. Completion of the plot. The climax of the conflict against Nazarov and his crime family. The last attempt to save your father The true ending and epilogues. Your choices matter! Learn how you and all the other characters ended up based on your decisions. Bottom surgery. The final surgery in the game and the final step in you feminization journey (if you choose to go through with it). Fully functioning female genitalia (meaning yes, you can get pregnant in the epilogue) Completion of all sub-plots. Olivia's story. Heather's story. Lexi's story. They're all complete. A new ending. In addition to the 'true ending' for finishing the game, there is new 'fail-state ending' if you fail to save your father. New achievements. For the completionists out there. Lots of text fixes and bug fixes.

This hotfix addresses all bugs identified so far. Another hotfix will likely come in the next few days. Lots of 'blank screens' dealt with. People shouldn't be locked out of bottom surgery accidentally anymore (not sure if that's totally fixed yet, though). Lexi's final scene now works. Some broken epilogue screens were fixed. The tesseract and scenes related to it were fixed... lots of fixes, really. Hard to list them all.

Hey, I finally did it! The Good Son v1.0 is released! The game is now complete, and can be played from start to finish, right to its many epilogues. This was a lot of work, and I'm really happy to finally tie a bow on it. The key inclusions in this update are (1) bottom surgery / sexual reassignment surgery, (2) conclusions to all sub-plots, (3) the grand finale to save your dad and complete the game, (4) epilogues reflecting what happens to all major (and most minor) characters based on your decisions. For now, I'm just going to upload this version onto Subscribestar. I'll add it to TfGamesSite soon. An important note on bugs: I tried to fix all game-breaking bugs before release, but this game is pretty vast in terms of all the various passages where a bug might hide. You all will be much better at finding the bugs than I can. So please let me know of all bugs on The Good Son Discord server and I will fix them in a series of hotfixes over the next few days and weeks. So definitely expect a rapid fire release of new versions over the next few days. If you want a more stable experience of The Good Son, maybe wait a week for a lot of the early bugs to get identified and sorted out.

Bug fixes: -You can no longer buy the Backless Evening Dress an infinite number of times. Just once, now. -Several instances of the game referring to the wrong media (and therefore not displaying anything) have been fixed. -Following the Cade romance from the Mid Game Jump no longer locks you out of his romance at the masquerade. -You can no longer remove tattoos you don't even have. -You can no longer talk to Chad about getting breast surgery when you've already had that surgery. -You will no longer referred to as '$bossname' when using the Mid Game Jump. That variable has been appropriately defined now. -Lots of other small issues (mostly relating to the Mid Game Jump) have been fixed! -TONS of text errors fixed. Get the booty you want and deserve! -Bottom surgery (sexual reassignment surgery) is on its way! This game takes this surgery pretty seriously - you don't just flip a switch and swap parts. So while the surgery itself isn't in v0.9 yet, you will have some scenes about it, and you'll need to talk to your lover (if you have one) about your choice. Some are more understanding than others... -New prestige breast options. There are three to discover. They're not obvious to find. Each is locked behind a particular romance and certain choices. I wonder if you'll be able to find them. -A new Mid Game Skip option, putting right in the middle of the game, around day 140. The old skip option is now called the Early Game Skip. The Mid Game Skip still needs to be tested a lot more. It probably won't fully break your game but it might mess a few things up. Let me know of the bugs as you find them. -The mall stores are open for business! The new clothing store, Femme Fatalle, plays into the plot of this update and has outfits, underwear, and toys for sale! The gift store will have a lot more to offer in future updates. -New scenes with Olivia, on both her matchmaking and corruption paths. On either path, you'll see that her story is nearly complete. -New, repeatable content with Lexi, which will increase your weekly earning from her business. -A few new repeatable university scenes. -Keybindings! Stolen from Battle Quest - you can now press keys to advance scenes. Works really for skipping content you don't care to read! -Slightly updated UI for some of the closets. Still tinkering with this. -Lots of new achievements! -Brand new ending! Fail to impress or distract Nazarov on your weekend away, and suffer accordingly...

I have not yet been able to replicate this bug so it has not been fixed. Sorry!
