VN Ren'Py Queen of Spade

Queen of Spade is a Ren'Py fantasy visual novel from Sinccubus set in the Kingdom of Leonia after a great victory over the Esgaresh Empire and its barbarian mercenary horde. The king surveys the battlefield with his Queen by his side, but among the defeated she spots a barbarian survivor who catches her attention, and she decides to capture him and learn more about his warband.

That "discovery" becomes the game. The Queen's interrogation of the barbarian warrior drifts into something else entirely, and her Son is the witness to what she becomes. The setup is the fantasy-medieval version of the QOS archetype, and the multi-protagonist structure lets you play both sides of the unraveling.
